Equestrian Canada rules apply – please see the Equestrian Canada website for further details. Exhibitors must be familiar with the General Rules and Regulations and the Equestrian Canada Rules — rules will be strictly enforced.

Liability Insurance is mandatory to compete or handle horses or ponies in any class. IHC Insurance will NOT be sold at the Fair office. It can be purchased through the Island Horse Council by downloading the form at: islandhorsecouncil.ca. A copy of insurance must accompany the entry form.

All classes are subject to change contingent upon a minimum of 3 entries. Classes with fewer than 3 entries may be combined. These classes may not be in final order.

This show will be part of the Abegweit Competition Series. An additional entry fee of $3.00/participant will be required to be paid with the entry form.

NO REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED MORNING OF THE SHOW.

Fees & Payment

Entry Fee: $3.00 per class

Abegweit Series Fee: $3.00 per participant

Late Fee: $20.00 per horse or pony (entries after August 29th)

Cheques payable to: Provincial Plowing Match & Agricultural Fair

E-transfer to: dundashalls@hotmail.com

One cheque will be issued for all prizes awarded, payable to owner/exhibitor.

Important Notes

  • No refunds of admission tickets.
  • All livestock exhibitors must pay admission.
  • Prize money will be issued by cheque payable to the owner/exhibitor.
  • If you do not wish to receive prize money, indicate on your entry form.
