Beef Shows
Saturday, August 23th
Show will begin following the 4-H classes (4-H classes begin at 12:30pm).
Animals may enter the barn on Friday, but must arrive no later than 10:00 am Saturday morning. Cattle may leave on Saturday at 5 pm. No bedding will be supplied.
For Beef Show, a MAXIMUM of 65 head will be accepted on a first entered, first accepted basis.

Following the 4-H showmanship classes on Saturday, August 24, ages 8 & under. Must be accompanied by an adult, in the ring or ringside. Prizes for all!
Following the final 4-H beef class, 4-H beef members will be competing to be part of the 4-H PEI Royal Beef Team. The team is made up of a maximum of 10 members (ages 14-21) who will travel to the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto in November to compete at the National Junior Beef Heifer Show. To be eligible members must have successfully: completed all components of the 4-H year (and previous year); prepare animal without the help of a leader or parent; and participate in regular showmanship and conformation classes. The Champion Beef Showperson will automatically be awarded a spot on the team (provided they are of age).

Breed Classifications
British Breeds: Angus, Dexter, Hereford, Highland, Shorthorn, Speckle Park
Exotic Breeds: Charolais, Limousin, Simmental
Crossbreds: Entered in class based on the breed of the sire (e.g. Simmental sire x Angus dam = Exotic Breed class)
Rules & Notes
- Nurse cows are not permitted.
- 2025-born beef calves are allowed to show.
- Classes may be split based on entry numbers.
- Supreme Male and Supreme Female will be selected at the end of the breed classes.

10) Progeny of Dam – A group of 2 animals, the progeny of one dam, and both animals must be exhibited in previous classes.
